Today I'm here to bring you 5 of my favorite winter protective styles. The winter is a harsh season for our hair because hair retains moisture from the air and in the winter the air is really dry in certain areas. Protective styles protect our ends and preserves the moisture in our hair. In my opinion the winter season is THE BEST time to start your natural hair journey! Reasons being : you can over moisturize without worrying about getting hot and you can give your hair a rest (hair isn't rubbing against your collar causing breakage).
